# Cin 7

## Cin 7 Omni

1. Open Cin 7&#x20;
2. Navigate to Settings > Integrations > Api v1
3. **Copy your Account ID / API Username** *(separete from the APIs itself)*
4. Create a new API instance&#x20;
5. Set the permissions to "Full Control"
6. Click Create
7. **Copy the API Key**

## Cin 7 Core

1. Navigate to the External API website inside Cin 7 Core. [Here](https://inventory.dearsystems.com/ExternalAPI.) is the link.&#x20;
2. Click on the + to create a new connection
3. Name your connection "Drivepoint"
4. Screenshot the pop-up that will appear after you click create (this will give us the **API Key**)
5. Close the pop-up
6. Open the new Drivepoint listing again and screenshot the **Account ID** (see example as well)
7. Send Drivepoint the two screenshots
