When should I use Quick Edit?

✅ "Wait, where in the SmartModel™ do I change this assumption again?" -> easily view all drivers you can edit in a list in the Web App

✅ "I wonder what would happen if we scaled our TikTok Shop Ad budget by 20%?" -> view the impact of core business metrics via charts and a variance table.

✅ "I am a bit scared to make changes in my model… I hope I don't break things" -> Editing the model without opening the model takes the fear away

✅ "My Marketing team should explore how changes in CAC affect our business performance but I don't want to give them permission to the live model." -> Plan access for adjacent teams can be a thing of the past (see my follow up question below)

  1. Open the Drivepoint Web App

  2. Navigate to the Plans tab

  3. Click on the "..." next to the Plan you would like to quick edit

  4. Select "Quick Edit"

Not to worry - Excel has a version history.

  1. Open the Plan you accidentally edited

  2. In Excel, click on "File"

  3. Click on "Info"

  4. Click on "Version History"

  5. Select the previous or an older version of your SmartModel™

  6. You successfully restored an older version🎉

NO - Preview results won't change the values in your Plan yet, you will have to confirm them in the following screen by indicating if you wanted to save it as a new Plan or to the existing Plan.
