# Import Plans to Compare in SmartModel™

### How do I import plans?

1. Click on "Import Plans" in the Add-In

1. Select the plans you want to import
2. Click on "Import and Save" at the bottom of the screen

4. Navigate to the blue "Compare Plans" tab in the SmartModel™
5. Select the recently imported plan to view the variance

### How do I delete plans from the drop-down?

1. Right click on any tab
2. Select "Unhide" from the Excel menu
3. Find the F-tab with the plan name you would like to delete
4. Unhide it&#x20;
5. Delete the tab
6. Click on "Import Data"
7. Select one plan to import
8. Every other plan that is not selected will get deleted from the drop-down menu

*For SmartModel™ expert users: you can also find the I-meta data tab and delete the column with the plan name to remove plans from the drop-down menu.*&#x20;
